I noticed you do not have Getty Images listed as a DAM vendor. Our Media Manager service was the recent recipient of the Frost and Sullivan Market Leadership award, and our service is the market share leader in the DAM SaaS category.
I think your audience would appreciate a complete list of vendors in this market.

ADAM Software offers full breadth XPS-functionality
Thanks to its open architecture, Digital Asset Management -system ADAM (www.adam.be) has again proven its capability to adopt swiftly to support a standard to come, the XPS, what stands for XML Paper Specification.
ADAM’s provider model allows third party developers to co-engineer on emerging opportunities. As for XPS , ADAM software joined forces with the Belgian company NiXPS (www.nixps.com) to build an XPS-engine for ADAM. The ‘NiXPS Library v2.0′ widens the scope in which ADAM can handle data. Thumbnails of XPS files are shown in ADAM, metadata can be read by ADAM when importing. ADAM even handles a smooth conversion of XPS files to Adobe PDF.

Please consider adding VerticalCurve to your list of vendors. We offer a robust digital asset management system that organizes your assets into a single repository where they are catalogued into a powerful database that includes descriptive information about the content of every asset. This level of organization gives you incredible tools to easily find the digital media you need no matter format it’s in and to create smaller collections of assets based on your criteria. What’s more, SPA includes a powerful conversion engine that can convert or re-purpose any asset in your library to whatever formats you or the people you work with need. We offer the product as SaaS or a fully integrated solution which works with your existing programs and applications.

I see it’s been a while since anyone has asked to be posted as a DAM vendor, so I’ll ask!
We are OpenEdit, an open source DAM and CMS project which has been moving forward for several years. We have Fortune 100 clients who have been successfully using OpenEdit in their enterprise environments for years. We began as a project for a global company who was using a commercial DAM solution which was not able to meet their needs. The company hired us and we integrated OpenEdit with the commercial DAM solution they were using.
Today OpenEdit is a standalone DAM and CMS application, we intend to continue to develop this project, hoping it creates a stir in the DAM industry much like open source has in the CMS community. Since hearing at Henry Stewart in NYC that the major DAM players aren’t too worried about open source, I now have a goal!
Our in-house developers are readying to release a new version of OpenEdit, I’ll be able to share these new features with you soon!
We are just beginning to refine our website, demo, expand hosting and such, so look for lots of changes on our website too!
Thanks,
Julie Riley
July 15, 2008 at 3:21 pm
Thanks for making us aware of OpenEdit Julie, always happy to see the open source community providing DAM services.
We have now added you to the Vendors list and posted a little intro on the site. Please stay in touch.

As the field of Digital Asset management grows the consolidation and ease of access will only become more important. In an evergrowing field of digital asset management solutions, domains like digitalassets.com with grow in importance and value. One global address. One easy point of access. That’s how we see it.
Glad you share the foresight.

Hi Mark,
Any chance we can get you to add Artesia Digital Media Group (http://www.artesia.com) to your list of DAM vendors?
We’ve been in the Digital Asset Management space for almost a decade, and many of the world’s largest and most recognizable brands currently use Artesia DAM to manage the rich media content powering their global marketing and advertising campaigns, digital media production workflows, and multi-channel content licensing and distribution processes.
Thanks! Hope you have a great week.
Casey
August 20, 2008 at 7:54 am
Casey,
I would have bet money that we had Artesia on the Vendors list, forgive the oversight. You are now where you shoudl have been from the begining.

Hi Mark,
No worries! Thanks for adding us to your vendor list.
Best,
Casey

I’m not associated with this project, but there’s a new Open Source DAM in the wild worth looking at – Razuna, http://www.razuna.com/
September 16, 2008 at 10:59 pm
We’ve had some exciting changes recently. My favorite is that we are in the process of separating our open source OpenEdit digital asset management software from our OpenEdit Framework developer site.
Any chance I can get our old link replaced on your vendor list to our new link? http://www.openeditdam.com
The website is very bare bones right now but you’ll see vast improvements quickly!
Hope everyone follows along, any comments are welcome!
Thanks so much,
Julie Riley

Hi,
No mention of Apple in the vendor list. Could you add it as Final Cut Server is rumoured to hit nearly 2000 installs in Europe since it was launched by the end of the year.
FCS is a great product given its pricing and functionality ..
Great site, keep up the good work..
Thanks
Nick
November 20, 2008 at 3:22 pm
Hi Nick,
Opps another oversight, we have covered FCS in the past, but I must have forgotton to add them to the vendors list … done now.
Thanks
November 27, 2008 at 6:59 pm
Please consider adding Lightbox Photo™ to your Vendor list.
Lightbox Photo™ allows users to create their own stock photo libraries or online proofing systems, meaning no more commissions to third party providers. Photographers can create dynamic e-commerce enabled image websites empowering them to present their work how they want, where they want and when they want. The cross platform, server side software combines PHP and MySQL to produce an inherently fast and highly scalable solution.
Thanks,
Adrian Ellis
